REGIMENT
The 2007 Pre
Band Camp will be held on Wednesday, August 8, 9, & 10, from
2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Nogales High School. This is a
MANDATORY camp for ALL returning members, ALL battery
members, ALL color guard members and ALL new
members/marching members to the ensemble, regardless of
class. On this day, the section leaders and the visual
instructors will teach the members the fundamentals of our
marching style and physical training exercises. ALL
paperwork for all participants is due on the last day of pre
camp.
The 2007 Band
Camp will begin on Monday, August 13, 2007 and will end on
Friday, August 24, 2007. Band Camp lasts from 7:30 am until
12:30 & 5-9 p.m. every weekday. This is a MANDATORY camp for
ALL members of the marching unit. It is vital that everyone
attends every day of camp. The typical schedule will be
music rehearsals in the morning and marching rehearsals in
the afternoon (subject to change).
Below are items we recommended the students bring to Rookie
Band Camp / Band Camp.
Your completed medical release form and
all paperwork (MANDATORY)
A good, positive and open attitude,
patience, eagerness to work hard
A jug of water (large)
A hat or visor
Sunglasses
Tuner
Sun Block
Flexible running or tennis shoes
Your equipment (i.e. instrument, flag,
rifle, sabre, drumsticks, etc.) in good playing condition
A folder to hold all your music and a
pencil to write with
Lunch or money for lunch
A "Dot Book" (contact your section
leader if you do not know what this is)
